Direct Self-Drive Route: Port Elizabeth to Chrislin Lodge
The most direct and shortest route from Port Elizabeth to Chrislin Lodge takes approximately one hour to drive and is a distance of just over 60 kilometres or 37 miles.
The route follows the coast on the N2 north towards Grahamstown before turning inland onto the R335 to Addo. Shortly after turning onto the R335 the road passes a large informal settlement called Motherwell. We do not recommend that you stop in this area.
After Motherwell you will drive through largely open grassland and low bush before reaching the Sunday’s River valley and Addo village.
Shortly after Addo village you will turn left onto the R336 and then left again onto the untarred road signed to Chrislin Lodge.
