The first destination in our first trip to South Africa could not have been more wonderful. We stayed in a roomy cottage they called a hut on spacious grounds just a few miles outside the park. There was an outdoor pool plus a convenient wifi area and a restaurant that served wonderful fresh hot and cold breakfasts and even better dinners. And best of all, the lodge was where we were picked up by tour guides in open-air vehicles for our all-day tour of the park and for a half-day canoe trip on the river bordering the park. Everyone at Chrislin was gracious and helpful.
