If you are planning a family safari holiday and looking for family-friendly accommodation you should know that at Chrislin African Lodge we love hosting families! We have a big yard, a large outdoor pool, friendly pets and two play areas – one outside and one in our restaurant. Our accommodation is great for families and we offer inter-leading rooms and a sleeper couch so younger children can stay with their parents. Extended families and those with older children enjoy staying in separate huts next to each other. Families love our relaxed restaurant and delicious food.

There are also so many family-friendly activities within a short drive from Chrislin African Lodge. Here are a list of some of the most popular family safari holiday activities:

• Self-drive safaris in Addo Elephant National Park, the main gate is 15 minutes from our lodge.
• Guided Addo Elephant Park safari drives in open vehicles, guided river canoeing trips, boarding on the sand dunes, fishing and quad biking are offered by our in-house activity operator Crisscross Adventures. Guests are collected and dropped back at the lodge. The friendly team caters for families with children of all ages.
• Adrenalin Addo offers a thrilling experience on a zip line and a giant swing.
• The Addo Wildlife Sanctuary has a play area for kids and many animals to view and some to play with. There are reptiles, meerkats, goats, chickens and bunnies as well as a selection of beautiful birds.
